Overall Job Objective, role and responsibilities

Purpose of job
Provide complete clerical assistance to Managers for the maintenance of client relationship and solid investment decisions and returns.

Key Relations
Operations, external clients, investments houses, SARS and attorneys
Internal clients , Help Desk

KPA/ Strategic business deliverables

  • Scheduling of appointments, follow up meetings and internal appointment and prepare documentation for the meeting.
  • Load new clients on system and request necessary documentation.
  • Type up agenda and minutes of the meeting and monitor the action that needs to be taken on conclusion of the meeting.
  • Generate, edit, print scan and post quarterly report
  • Continuous filing, scanning of all documentation
  • Sending out of birthday cards and arranging gifts for special or sad occasions
  • Complete forms and submit and track instructions submitted to operations. (New business, withdrawals, switches and PSI/PSO)
  • Handle queries from Operations and Managers
  • Complete relevant tasks
  • Constantly update FICA and FAIS
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding the status of instructions


Skills, Experience and Education

Relevant Degree

Min 3 years experience an Assistant in a similar role within the financial services industry
