Job Title Wealth Planning Assistant
Overall Job Objective, role and responsibilities

Purpose of job
Contribute to effectively servicing the investment process of the Wealth Planner, thus securing new business.

Key Relations
All clients, possible leads
Internal clients, Operations , Pension fund Administrators and external service providers.

KPA/ Strategic business deliverables

  •  Establish and maintain intimate relationship with leads or potential clients.
  • Administration of client file - Register prospective clients on Tyrus and complete composition of first appointment file using checklist and business flow
  • Gather prospective client`s financial portfolio information such as individual policy , pension fund values and share portfolios
  • Compile investment proposal
  • Compile and complete all application forms in order to implement recommendations made in the proposal
  • Liaise with Pension fund Administrators to arrange transfer and make the investments
  • Draft Closing off letter and structuring fee account.
  • Prepare to hand over of client file to portfolio manager
  • Make appointments – new and follow up
  • Adhoc arrangements of prospecting events
  • Submit and follow up all new business with Operations
  • Handle enquiries
Skills, Experience and Education

Qualification
Matric with relevant tertiary qualification

Experience
Min 3 years experience in investment and planning environment

Computer competency requirements
Tyrus
Microsoft packages
